Hello everyone,

Hi dhruvsharma2117,

yes, INSEAD has been accepting GRE scores for a few years.

There is no cut-off score per se, but INSEAD advises scoring at least 80% in both Q and V sections.

That being said, over-represented backgrounds/nationalities are encouraged to score a bit higher.

I hope this helps.

Warm regards
Alex

Hi, this is from the FAQ: INSEAD does not have a minimum required GMAT score. Rather than focusing on your overall score, we assess your individual results in the Quantitative, Verbal and IR sections of the exam. We need you to demonstrate your strengths in all of these sections. In order to be competitive, you should aim to achieve a score at or above the 70 - 75 percentile in both the quantitative and verbal sections. For the Integrated Reasoning section, we recommend achieving a score of 6 or above. Please keep in mind, however, that the GMAT is just one of several admission criteria. A high score does not guarantee admission, and a below average score does not eliminate a candidate. See GMAT Exam preparation tips from top scorers.

It’s mildly confusing they still publish this, because of this happening last year, ( see article) acknowledging that 70th percentile now is tougher than before, even throwing out a 50th percentile. In my opinion, that Candidate would be someone who is both underrepresented and has a great quant background. Like I had a candidate, who was a French, Like I had a candidate, who was French guy, and had a masters in aeronautical engineering who got it with a 650. For over represented applicants I think better to stick to 70th-75th. https://poetsandquants.com/2022/02/02/i ... at-scores/

really, on the higher end of that or more. The competitiveness of the applicant profile pool bids up the gmat they can pick from. From the years I moderated this thread rarely saw Indian males admitted with scores under 740 and they are usually 750+.

I am targeting 24 intake ,round 2 for MIM.
In my last year of law school .
Can you please clarify what’s the ideal GMAT score for me ?
And will I be given any advantage of diverse field?

Hi there I am sorry I don’t work with MIM clients myself - or know enough about how diverse/unique you are vis a via the applicant pool (more unique/underrepresented requires lower score and vice versa)- so I’m not really sure. When you say diverse field, do you mean law? I’m not sure how many people have that background. It’s probably more likely than for MBA because you can do law directly after your undergraduate or if it’s actually part of your bachelors in Europe.
