You can change the recommender if they haven’t submitted their recommendation yet.

Hi, if anyone needs a ’friend and guide’, you can contact my guide Shahrukh Moin Khan over LinkedIn or dm me for further details. An IIM C 2-year MBA passout of 2017, he has 6+ years experience of guiding students. Best for Interviews and SOPs I believe! Waited for my R1 convert before I actually posted this...........

Hi everyone, one quick question

Should the SOP be strictly less than 600 words or can it extend a little beyond also?

The application form says around 600 words so I am not completely sure about the word limit

Thank you

In one of the info sessions, they said it is strictly 600 words.

I wouldn’t suggest going beyond the word limit.

What is the difference in chances in applying R2 vs R3?

Sep 29 at 07:14pm

Simply put: The earlier the better.

The intake is almost evenly spread across different rounds. So, apply when you feel comfortable and ready. Most significant differentiator for R3 could be how the batch profile would’ve shaped up in R1 & R2, with regards to the cohort mix (gender, backgrounds, work-ex, etc) vis-a-vis the mix the school would prefer. That could slightly favour certain sections over the other in R3 - just as it would have in R1 & R2 earlier.

All that said, there is not much value in making a hasty application in R2 if you feel you could have a stronger application in R3 (maybe better GMAT or another certificate, or just better essay/LOR, etc).
