Had my interview today.
They focussed mostly on

Can you tell where is your interview location

Quick question, MananS4G and CrackAdmission - are there going to be any more interview invites rolled out now for R1? I know that the email mentions 15th Nov but I guess that will be for the final decision. Interview location - Mumbai. I did receive the email which said that they are in the process of reviewing the application. I submitted my application on the 8th.

I have my interview in a few hours now. My venue is in Delhi.

Did they ask technical questions from your field?

Yeaa, super anxious about this - which is why I tagged the experts in my post. If anyone has any information about Mumbai, it'll be very helpful tbh. Some Admission Consultant groups have said that tomorrow is the last day to get the interview invite? Is that true? Very confusing and unnecessarily adding to my anxiety lol.

I also got a shortlisted for interview email on Sep 25, haven’t received interview invite yet, I suggest hold tight, invites will roll out when they have to

No technical question.
It varies from panel to panel/ profile to profile . My panel focussed mainly on the "why MBA" aspect.

Dear @WeGoAgain - Probability of getting a call is on the lower side. However, its possible that when ISB rolls out precise interview dates for the Mumbai center shortlisted applicants, they directly send you the date.

Hello Everyone,
Penned down a Broad summary of the interview experience of some of the applicants whom we helped and who had interviews over this weekend.
1. Lot of emphasis on the career trajectory and choices made till now and rationale behind them.
2. Nitty gritty of essays were asked. Applicants were asked to describe the WHY behind the WHAT.
3. Level of understanding of the post MBA career goal was gauged.
4. Details of the EC position of responsibility mentioned in the application form.
5. How do you plan to address the weaknesses during your time at ISB
6. Decision making for a hypothetical situation and underlying thought process behind the decisions.
7. Nature of interaction with ISB alum (for someone who mentioned an alum’s name in one of the essays / how did you come to know about ISB field in the application form).
8. Details of Leadership instances for applicants who had less than 2 years of professional work experience
9. One random thing about you that is not mentioned in the application form.

Note: This is a broad summary based on interview experience of 8 applicants and might not capture micro level nuances. Hence, would recommend to take it with a pinch of salt. Please ignore the grammatical errors / typos and focus more on the messaging from the above pointers.

For the recommender email id in the application form, do we need to provide the company id of our manager(if he/she is the recommender)or would personal id work?

Ideally Professional email id. In case you and the other recommender are currently not serving in the same organization or if you are taking a client side reco, then in that case also the recommender’s work email id (of his / her current employer) should be mentioned.
In case you have no choice but to use a personal email id (lets say the recommender is on a break / sabbatical etc.) then you should communicate the same to ad com separately and also request the recommender to explicitly state this out in his/her LOR.
