Hi! I am new to the forum and prepping GMAT for postgraduate at LBS, however, its a non-MBA degree (the MiM!). Would it be possible to get advice on my profile at a later date? :)

Unlike other schools, the video interview for LBS is only for those applicants who have been invited to the alum interview.

Has anyone received the video interview call yet for Round 1?

Thank you for the info!

So if you haven’t received one, its a bad sign guess?

According to the LBS website, interview decisions will be sent on October 12th. The Kira interview links will probably be sent with the interview mail.

That's right.

Once you're invited to interview, in this case on October 12th, you receive instructions on how to complete the video interview.

So for now, there is nothing to be done nor reason to be worried.

Hi, everyone,

We have added a new episode to our GMAT Club Podcast. In this episode, we spoke to Giri Kesavan, Senior Strategy Manager at Sky. We also take a deep dive into the admissions process and life at London Business School.

My bad I hadn't clarified it here. It was my uninformed consultant at MBAandBeyond who had given me this scare that the invites for Kira have already gone out

Hello! I would suggest give a mock for both and see which format you’re more comfortable with. Also, there’s no SC. In the focus edition- if that’s your strong suit, then would recommend the normal gmat itself

I heard that the GMAT focus and the normal mocks have different questions. So before deciding on which one to go for, I guess it is better to take the mock and understand where you stand in the Focus edition. As most of the resources are not perfected for the focus edition, relying on focus entirely for R2 might not be a good idea.

Quant was 50, Verbal was pretty low

KanikaJain - would suggest taking a mock of each to identify strengths and weaknesses, and decide accordingly. Check out my article covering the differences between the Classic and Focus GMAT editions, including FAQ's and insights from a recent summit conducted by GMAC.
