A Divine Encounter Is Essential For Genuine Personal Revival And Lasting Transformation. Everything in the Kingdom Flows From His Presence.
It is God’s will and His heart’s desire to make Himself known and to personally reveal Himself to everyone who genuinely seeks Him (Deut 4:29, 2 Chron 16:9, Lk 11:9-13, Heb 1:2). The presence of the God of the universe always demands a response from all who encounter Him (Ps 97:4-6, Isa 6:5, Lk 4:33; 41, 1 Cor 14:24-25, Rev 1:17). A divine encounter with God is essential for genuine personal revival and lasting transformation (Ps 51:10-12, Isa 40:31, Jer 24:7, Ez 36:26, Rom 9:33; 12:2, 1 Cor 4:16-18).
Our services are called Encounter Services. It is our desire to create an environment where God becomes present and encounters those who have come to worship Him. God can do in a moment what would take us a lifetime. We approach God and every Encounter service with expectancy, but not expectation; with faith, but not an agenda. We accept that encounters, and the manifestation they produce, may be as unique as the people who are experiencing them. The variety and manner of manifestations will not violate the character of God, nor Scripture. However, they are not limited nor confined by doctrine (Mt 22:29), our understanding of the previous works of God (Isa 42:9, 43:18-19, ), nor reduced to predictable patterns of how Holy Spirit has moved in the past (Joel 2:23, Mt 24:29, Ja 5:7). Many stop short of a divine encounter because they are satisfied with good theology. The word of God is to lead us to the God of the word. (Bill Johnson) Our services are characterized by freedom; for both the Holy Spirit and the individual worshipper (2 Cor 3:17, 1 Thess 5:19-20).
