Karan0912 I would not say that INSEAD is round agnostic, but rather that INSEAD is equally competitive in each round. That is, if you have a relatively over-represented profile, the earlier you apply, the better. Especially if you are interested in scholarships (R1 scholarships are really good!).
IMO, you can do away with the conundrum entirely if you apply to LBS and INSEAD simultaneously. I can understand that both applications are lengthy, especially INSEAD, but if you have laid a solid foundation for your LBS application, it should not take you too long to finish the INSEAD essays.
Regarding your specific question, yes, you may not have time until your INSEAD decision if you are applying in different rounds. It could be a tricky situation and you may only have 7-10 days before you accept your LBS offer.
