In the waitlist email it specifies that there is no such ranking system in waitlist. It is based on availability of seat and whether your profile fits in terms of diversity of nationality/professional workex etc. So if a specific nationality quota (around 10-12% of class every batch as maximum threshold) is filled, which would be around 50-60 Indians for example, then waitlist is as good as rejection is my understanding.

Let's see how many seats will be available by the end. Good luck!

Male indian engineer, working in Hong Kong, undergrad with scholarship in infrastructure consulting industry in F500. Interviews went very well. Are you waitlisted? IF yes, could you also share a brief profile? thanks!

No, I’m not waitlisted. I’d just put in my application in round 3. Indian Female Candidate myself. I’m nervous hence trying to gauge what school has been looking at largely.

Right! Good luck! Unfortunately mostly Indians only in Waitlist. Someone who is already selected in Round 1 mentioned in the other forum before that 46-50 Indians were selected in Round 1 itself. So Not having high hopes lol. Let's see what happens!

That seems incredibly unlikely to me though, historically the school has been known to space this out, and I’ve even checked LinkedIn in quite a detailed manner to understand this! But good luck. Hope all goes well for you! (And for me too!)

There is an app where all admitted students get added in a group called MEET. If you know someone in Round 1 who is admitted, they can simply count the Indians in that group and they came up with that number for 24D batch. I was shocked too as I had read they space it out but 80% of the Indian quota was full by Round 1 itself.

It might help to ask Round 1/Round 2 admits who are in that group to count and let you know as well if you are keen to have that info. Anyways, hope you convert! (And all of us in waitlist too!)

Wow, surprising. Although that might not be the best way to gauge someone’s nationality unless the app MEET also specifies the nationality of the admitted students. As in it’s quite easy to mistake that for multiple Indian origin people holding different passports. Don’t think those people would qualify for the “India” quota? Or even people from other SE Asia countries for that matter. (All the lies im telling myself to calm my nerves down).

I have been waitlisted in R3.
Did any of you get off the WL? Can they share their experience?

No update yet on the chat/forum for the waitlist. Based on past year pattern, first week of October till anytime before start of program anyone can hear from INSEAD depending on whether anyone who is already admitted opts not to go. In the Indian category I would assume that is a very slim chance so I am considering waitlist as soft rejection.

Hey guys! Any movement on the waitlist for anyone? As this is the last week for round 4 after which they all end I am assuming these few days are the highest chances for anyone converting waitlist so please keep us updated so others may know it is happening if at all! Thanks

Hi, I’m a r4 applicant that’s just been put on WL. I had both my alumni interviews in September, both of which I felt went fairly well. I’m keeping my fingers and toes very crossed for us!

Also, thanks MBAspirant for sharing this forum with me.
