I read somewhere of an informal cutoff into MBB programs for a GMAT score under 720. How true is this?
I have taken the GMAT once and scored a 710. I know i can probably improve my score if i studied for it once more.
Is it worth retaking the GMAT now that I've already been admitted? If it improves my shot at getting an interview at an MBB then i might as well spend the next couple months preparing for it right?
Hi
hasman404 this is not true at all. I have seen many folks with scores between 660 and 700 get shortlists for MBB interviews. The most crucial factors for securing a shortlist from MBB (at INSEAD) are your resume and work experience/industry focus.
