Consider a series of independent Bernulli(p) trials (think for example of flipping coins, one after the other).

Let alpha be an integer.

Let W be a random variable that measures the time of the alpha’th success (in the coin flipping example, think of how many flips have passed until the 10’th success - in this example alpha=10).

What is the probability mass function of W?

Namely, for an integer k, what is Pr[W=k]?

Hello,?
I am currently a mathematics teacher for primary and grade 7 and I want to grow financially and I want to go for the big PGCE or GMAT tutor certificate,
Any advice would be much appreciated.
I don’t even know anything about how to become a GMAT teacher, nor GRE.

Welcome to GMAT Club!

There is no tutor certificate. Anyone can be a tutor. Usually you want a high score. Most top GMAT prep companies ask for 99th percentile or basically 760 in the current test format.

If you can get a higher score, even more awesome. Some folks/ tutors have low 700’s too and as long as you are a good instructor, you will folks but at the same time, GMAT tutoring is competitive. Anyone with a high score can offer their services. The barrier is not high

for me yes, it felt time consuming. But I just gave like a cold mock, so if someone is in their rhythm then you can really ace DI.

So, it means that SC section is not completly removed from the Focus Edition.
