profile evaluation : Said

Hi,
Could someone please evaluate my profile for LBS and Said.

Gender and Age: M,32
Acads : 10th and 12th - 87% and 77%
BSc Physics(Hons.) - 74% from Delhi University in 2012
GMAT- 720(q49,v38)
Work experience: 10 years.
Others: co-founder of NGO working in various states in field of education, certified career counselor

Working as Civil Servant in Ministry of Finance in Government for 8 years. Earlier experience of 2 years in the banking sector.
Managed policy related work and tax administration throughout country.

International experience: None.

Reason for MBA:
Short term goals : To move into corporate strategy ,relationship management or product management in IT or Finance .
Long term goal of taking leader ship roles in Financial Services.
I have gained good experience and knowledge on Banks and financial systems.
Working with various stakeholders, i have gained both bottom-up and top-down view of product development in Banks and financial institutions.
I feel that I am now better placed to lead large projects, client and teams in a more effective way.
Please let me know in case of more queries.

Your experience and goals sync with the strengths of both programs; so, a lot depends on how well you portray your candidature through your essays; the experience is on the higher side so you must be sure to portray your need for an MBA at this point in your career. What you have mentioned makes a lot of sense.

The GMAT score leans around the average, especially, with regard to LBS; hence, an improvement in the score will definitely help your case.
