Strengths:

Easy to use, beautifully designed platform that engages the student and facilitates studying for long hours. Strong Sentence correction curriculum. The Error log page is a lifesaver.

Would make the product better:

I felt that I was not able to improve my reading comprehension skills a lot. Not sure what could have helped though

The platform is beautifully designed and is very easy to use. I know a lot of people might not find this aspect very important, but when you're on a very tight timetable with a full-time job, it is essential that the platform engages you to sit for long hours.
Another feature I liked was the timetable's customizability. I was able to enter the number of hours I want to dedicate on each of the days of the week and TTP created a timetable for me. Having a timetable to rely on is very important! Another feature I loved was the notes-making functionality. Anywhere on the course, whether that be inside chapters or practice tests, you can highlight key points/ sentences. You can also save questions you got wrong and leave a remark as to what went wrong. All these notes can be reviewed together on the 'Error log' page. This was my go-to page for revision before any mock. I used this even before my actual GMAT exam.
I used the platform for 2 months to complete the verbal section and a few chapters from quant. To maximise the outcomes from TTP, I would recommend completing the course which might take up to 3-4 months.

Brilliant course!

Strengths:

Very extensive and in-depth. Covers virtually every topic on GMAT in a clear and concise manner. Also has a ton of practice questions that really help you reinforce what you have learned.

Would make the product better:

Honestly, cannot come up with much to improve. Maybe some more RC questions would have been nice. But still, this course has everything you might need.

This course really helped me study for the GMAT. I was intially worried about how to actually know what and how to study for the test. Through TTP, however, I did not have to worry about that and I could simply "trust in TTP" and focus on studying.

Each topic is explained very carefully and pedagogically, and the course also provides many different strategies on different types of questions, thereby eliminating a lot of uncertainty I usually experience when starting to solve a question.

Furthermore, the course is very easy since it is shows exactly what topic to study and in what order. Finally, TTP offers a ton of practice question, which is really fantastic since answering all of them (which you essentially do throughout the course) gives you a lot of confidence and reinforces your knowledge for the actual GMAT exam.

One recommendation I have is based on a personal mistake, and that is to give yourself a lot of time to study, maybe 4-6 months depending on how much you study each day. I gave myself 2,5 months and studied approx. 3 hours a day. However, I barely had time to complete the course before my exam, and as a result only did 2 practice exam prior to the GMAT. Having more time would definitely have been less stressful.

In short, I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone taking the GMAT, and thank you Scott and the team for creating such a great course!

Highly recommend TTP for GMAT success

Strengths:

- Extremely thorough and comprehensive: TTP starts at the most basic concepts for every topic, so no matter what your background is, it'll set you up for success. I've personally hated geometry since the 2nd grade and was especially concerned about this topic on the GMAT. Not only did TTP make me understand the concepts but it also made me actually LIKE geometry more and more as I went through the chapter. While it may seem annoying to have to learn the most basic concepts, I think this is what really ensures that you have an understanding so deep that you are able to tackle whatever question the GMAT throws at you.
- Expert help available around the clock: Although I didn't sign up for the live classes or personal tutoring, I was able to get all the help I needed from the TTP team. The experts help to break down the solutions for you when you're really stumped on a question. This was especially helpful for my Quant prep when I just could not wrap my head around a problem.
- Schedule and structure: Whether you're studying for the GMAT full-time or only have a few hours to spare each day, you're able to create a customized plan for yourself. The plan also adjusts as you go, so you don't have to worry about how to make up for a day you missed or how to get ahead when you've done a few extra lessons.

Would make the product better:

- Add at least 1-2 full-length practice exams. While the question bank is extremely thorough, taking a practice exam is still a unique experience and an important part of the prep for the GMAT. For me, this was the one piece of the puzzle that TTP was lacking.
- Make answer explanations less repetitive for the Verbal section. I have to admit that the thoroughness and comprehensive nature of the course is what led to my success on the GMAT... but it was still sometimes boring and frustrating to have to read through the RC explanations because of how long and repetitive they were. That being said, an easy solution to this is to just skim through the repetitive parts once you get a hang of the course.

When I was selecting a course, I chose TTP because it had great reviews and it was a relatively economical option. While I haven’t taken any other courses, so cannot speak to their effectiveness, I do think the TTP course gives you a great bang for your buck, and is definitely a more reasonable choice than some of the other courses out there.
Overall, the course is excellent and thorough. Even though I was studying from Asia, the TTP team responded quick enough to my queries that I never felt like I was waiting for a long time. If you truly trust and follow the full course, you can and will get a great score on the GMAT!

Amazing resource for GMAT study

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement 110 Points

Course Target Test Prep Flexible Prep

Strengths:

-TTP was easy to navigate and the study plans were really well structured.
-Quant section was very comprehensive and the way the chapters were organized was beneficial to the learning process as the concepts built off one another.
-Methods of how to solve certain quant questions were also explained clearly and made it easy for the user to understand.
-Good question tracker and test bank. Can create custom test banks based on specific parameter such as questions you've gotten wrong, questions you spent over 2 min on, etc.
-Hard questions in quant were more difficult than most of the ones I encountered on the official GMAT.

Would make the product better:

-Increase the amount of verbal problems available for practice.
-Some of the verbal explanations were not as clear as other sources I used.
-Explanations on some verbal solutions did not provide a detailed reason behind the logic of why they may have been wrong.
-What I found helpful with material from other sources was that they did a great job of explaining the logical steps of answering the problems in a way that was easier for me, personally, to connect with.

I would absolutely recommend anyone preparing for the GMAT to use TTP. The quant section alone is worth it. They provided a very detailed and comprehensive quant study plan which made me very confident I would score well. Some hard quant questions on TTP were exceptionally hard, and having been able to solve them really bought up my confidence when taking the real test. I was scoring Q45-46 on the OG practice tests but scored Q48 and Q49 on each of my official GMAT attempts. The quant section is structured in such a way that the concepts build off each of the earlier chapters and there are comprehensive check-ins along the way so that you do not forget any of the concepts you learned.

Verbal was a bit lacking for my preference but overall I would still give it a 4/5. The CR sections are do a good job of explaining the logical concepts to the answer choices, however I found SC to be lacking in this regard. RC was also good and the topics they cover was definitely helpful on the real test. Wish there were more questions for SC and RC.

Overall the course is amazing and I really liked how you can track your answers and mark the reason you got them wrong. Also the ability to create custom test banks to practice was a nice feature. Even though I felt like TTP could beef up the verbal section a bit I would still give this course a 5/5 all things considered. Truly an invaluable resource when it comes to GMAT prep.

Strengths:

Well organized comprehensive course with a lot of practice problems (easy, medium, & hard difficulty).

Would make the product better:

The course is great. I would just offer maybe more of a discount on the pricing if possible.

If you're looking for a comprehensive GMAT prep course I highly recommend TTP. The course is well organized and provided great structure to keep me on track. I was able to score a 720 on my first attempt with a Q48 and V41. I reactivated TTP because I wanted to increase my Quant score and thanks to TTP I was able to score a Q50 on my second attempt with a 730 overall score. The great thing about the course is that they provide challenging problems that prepare you really well for the actual tricky GMAT questions. Once again I highly recommend giving TTP a chance if you’re looking to achieve a 700+ score.

Good course for covering theory part of Verbal section

Strengths:

Strengths:-
This course teaches the theory very gradually so anyone can understand it and it also has practice questions in every section to check your knowledge.

Would make the product better:

If they could have an option of question bank of mixed types of question, it would really help a lot. As in GMAT you never know what theory the question is testing and most of the times there are multiple grammar rules applied in a single question. As we practice the questions only in a particular section, we are aware of what errors to look for.

Overall this is a really good course, and it helped me a lot to cover my lacking grammar knowledge. They have taken lot of efforts to make us understand even difficult topic easily.

I liked their organized course flow, which also allows you to select between a normal course or an accelerated course. I would like if they offer full length tests for practice too.

Almost all the questions have detailed video answers, so you understand why every option is right or wrong. The only recommendation is to have an option of mixed type question bank, where all options test different rules of grammar. While attempting GMAT I faced this issue, as in most of the questions all the options looked convincing and I was not sure what rule to be checked for any option.

TTP is Great

Strengths:

TTP is truly a one-stop shop for success on the GMAT. You do not need to go anywhere else to go from 0 to the score you want.

Would make the product better:

Some of the verbal content seemed too detailed and not as important on the actual test.

Target Test Prep (TTP) is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to improve their GMAT score. The program is comprehensive and covers all aspects of the exam, from the basics of math and verbal to the more advanced concepts. TTP also provides a great deal of practice material, including thousands of questions.

I particularly appreciate the way that TTP breaks down the GMAT into manageable chunks. This makes it easy to focus on your weaknesses and improve your score gradually. The program also provides excellent explanations for every question, so you can learn from your mistakes and avoid making them again in the future.

Overall, I highly recommend TTP to anyone who is serious about getting a high GMAT score. The program is comprehensive, effective, and well-organized. If you are willing to put in the effort, TTP can help you achieve your GMAT goals.

TTP Was Essential to My Score and I Would 100% Use it Again

Strengths:

Both verbal and quant sections have everything you should need to get at least a 700. The user interface is great and makes spending hours and hours in the course easier. The chat function is incredibly useful with helpful and quick responses.

Would make the product better:

The course is very very long. I don't think they have anything in there that they don't feel they need, but anything to make it more palatable for working professionals would be great.

The verbal section was great and helped me refresh on all of the topics I needed to get a great score in sentence correction and critical reasoning. The quant section is everything you could need to get a great score. In fact, I didn't even complete the course and I still know that I wouldn't have been able to achieve my 710 without TTP. I also know that if I were to take all the tests and read all the lessons, I for sure would have been 730+. I do wish I would have been able to use TTP for my SAT and that they had an MCAT verison for my girlfriend. I feel like I used the chat so much that Jeffery would remember me. It makes you feel supported to have the TTP team to respond to your questions, and do so quickly.

580 mock to 710 using TTP

Strengths:

1) Simple and clear explanations on conceptual topics
2) Personalized learning plans
3) Flash cards, diagnostic tests, custom tests based on weaknesses

Would make the product better:

More questions overall and maybe the ability to emulate an official mock exam.

I highly recommend TTP to prepare for the GMAT. It may take some time to complete everything but it's worth spending the effort to do all the missions including all the practice tests. Additionally, the team at TTP are highly approachable and will help you with any queries regarding your preparation.

Highlights: 1) Clear explanations of concepts in both quantitative and verbal reasoning, along with video guides on approaching questions

2) Effective notes on exam strategies, including time management, question approaches and eliminations, and more

3) Custom and diagnostic tests to help you attack weaker areas of your preparation and dial in your score.

4) Huge question bank of problem solving, data sufficiency and verbal questions. By the end of it, I wished for even more questions to be available!

The one drawback or consideration i would make is that, along with TTP, I did solve a lot of official guide questions and historical GMAT advanced guide questions for more practice. Whether or not this is necessary comes down to your personal preparation and ability to afford additional material.

Kudos!

Strengths:

Ample quant practice questions

Very clear, concise and relevant verbal reasoning reading material

Error tracking and OnTarget practice and analytics

Flexible study plans suited to your needs

Would make the product better:

Need more verbal reasoning practice questions

I took the GMAT flexible preparation plan provided by TTP on a monthly subscription basis for my GMAT preparation (at the Expert+ level). Used the accelerated calendar study plan and then switched to the mission plan about one and half months before my GMAT exam.

As for quant, TTP provides ample questions for practice in the form of timed tests and lots of study material to learn the different topics from. As for verbal reasoning, the study material is very clear, concise and relevant wrt the GMAT syllabus. It provides a very lucid understanding of different topics with its crisp short paragraphs and highlighted "Must Know"s.

I personally loved the flexibility of the 2 types of study plans and the fact that one can switch between the two at any point in time. For a working individual with very little time to think about the priority order of lessons, the calendar plan is perfect as it takes away the headache of carefully planning what lessons to study first. Then as you near the end of the preparation, assuming that one would devote more time to studying, one can switch to the mission plan which is designed to get the most learning in few sittings.

TTP also has a really good error tracking system which accurately provides you with your weak topics and strong topics; and using this in combination with the OnTarget practice system; accelerates learning by a big margin.

Finally reached my target GMAT score of 760 (q51 v41) from 700 (q50 v34) on my first official practice test.
