Awesome Support by Mark and the Admissionado Team

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I started working with Mark 2 years out of college and into my job. For someone with a low WE, it was definitely not an easy task to uncover all the leadership stories that can bolster ones application, but Mark was always there to provide the much needed inspiration.

My entire life went upside down shortly after starting working with Mark. I relocated back to my home country to support my company's expansion there, but I was hit with the unfortunate news of my father getting cancer and eventually passing away, which forced me to postpone my MBA plans. Throughout this time, Mark and the Admissionado team was supportive and understanding, helping me put my application on hold temporarily until I feel ready to apply again.

A year later, I became ready again to tackle my MBA applications. But my perspective of life and my career has changed... The stories I wanted to tell changed as well. Mark and the team was patient throughout this rediscovery process and worked with me patiently to hash out my new stories. It was a painful process to go back to the drawing board but I was fortunate to had an awesome team to back me up.

I eventually applied to 5 schools with Admissionado, and leveraged the same materials to applied to 1 other school on my own, and got in Columbia, Booth, and Kellogg. I will be attending Columbia this upcoming fall.

Excellent Service

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Regina has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was responsive to all my questions and takes the time to learn more about your background, experiences, strengths, and goals to always present your truest self in the most clear manner. It was a very pleasant experience working with her and the team.

She may not have a crystal ball, but with all her years of experience, she knows where there are areas of improvements in the application and the appropriate timeline that can be used to help address any concerns that may come up. From the initial discovery phase to submission, she was there with me every step of the way.

Amazing experience with Colleen and team!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Colleen and the Admissionado team are really the perfect support I needed throughout my graduate application process. The process is already very stressful to begin with--balancing work while applying to many schools, improving your GRE scores, crafting all the required essays, all whilst constantly having doubts on whether getting into these dream schools are actually achievable. I would say the best qualities of Colleen is her empathy and flexibility. She never judged me if I miss any deadline to submit materials and just focused on improving my application as much as we could. Her constant cheerleading helps me greatly to stay motivated throughout the process. She is also very open to inputs and different perspectives. In the end, I got admitted to all top-tier schools I applied to with scholarship. The whole team celebrated with me when the decisions were released.

If you are looking for a consultant who understands your burden, persistently trying their best despite all the difficult circumstances, and a team who sees your success not just as another business transaction but as a goal the team passionately work together towards, then Colleen and the Admissionado team is the right fit for you :)

Untraditional candidate? Pick Stefanie!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I worked with Stefanie on Haas, Booth, Wharton, and Kellogg. I received acceptances at Booth, Kellogg, and Haas. I was waitlisted at Wharton, but Booth was my first choice so it worked out perfectly. I purchased the Silver Package with LOR support and Resume support.

I wanted to apply to business school for years but I did not believe I had a chance. I have an untraditional background so I didn't work in consulting, finance, marketing, or any "traditional" business fields. I had a background in nonprofit work primarily, with multiple jobs in random fields on my resume. Additionally, I had low test scores (after 3 retakes). Finding a way to weave all the divergent aspects of my story and background together into a narrative that made sense to an adcom required both creativity and patience.

I really don't like when people blow smoke and I can detect it from miles away. I first approached Stefanie very shakey about applying and vocalized all the gaps and weaknesses in my profile. She didn't disagree with them (because they were objective) but steered the conversation to how we could focus on the strengths that I couldn't see. I knew she wasn't lying to me or trying to comfort me. The application process itself is exhausting and emotionally draining, so I needed someone I felt safe and comfortable with. The connection one has with a consultant is so important because you need to trust the person enough to allow yourself to dig into your true motives, figure out what's driving you versus what you think schools (or other people) want to hear, and be unashamed when you realize you're more lost than you initially realized. Stefanie supported me emotionally when I doubted myself, and also when others expressed doubt toward me.

I really hate writing about myself. Getting me to boast about my accomplishments or get personal in writing feels like pulling teeth. Stefanie pushed me enough that I was able to be vulnerable in my writing, but not so much that I felt coerced. There were countless times when I found major gaps in my story. The questions almost became harder as I started writing, and the more I wrote, the more frustrated I became. Without Stefanie, I would've been stuck in this loop. There were essays I thought were good that Stefanie told me didn't do the trick...and there were ones I thought were absolutely terrible that Stefanie helped me evolve to make them work.

In the end, I really loved the essays that I submitted. I even told Stefanie that even if I didn't get in...I'm still so proud of my essays and I gave it my all. I didn't think the essays could be any better. They were genuinely ME and I was able to vocalize my goals more clearly than I ever had been able to, which showed in my interviews. It's very easy in the process to think you need to fit a certain archetype, especially when you review other people's essays online or look at profiles of people who got into top MBA programs. If you're an untraditional candidate or you have gaps/weaknesses in your profile, go to Stefanie!

John&Team = Secret Sauce. Booth Admit (4/4 Schools)

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

John and the team at Admissionado are unrivaled. There are tons of services out there but nothing will get as close to perfect execution as them. I got accepted to all 4 schools in the first round and by no means have a 'stand out' profile. As someone who started as a skeptic, not only did the change my viewpoint, but they helped me at every possible hurdle that I came across with poise. There dedication, responsiveness, and depth of knowledge really stands out and shined through as I went through the admissions process. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Whether an MBA has been a life long pursuit, or you are just looking to advance yourself, John and team will not only help you deliberate best fit but get you admitted. The confidence they instilled in me, had me unwavering through the entirety of the process. No matter the challenge, question, concern (scores/grades/etc)...John and team WILL rise to the occasion and you'll be happy you partnered with them.

Incredibly Helpful Resource - Highly Recommend!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

Working with Admissionado was truly a blessing and a highlight of my MBA experience. If you're looking for a consultant that will provide unenthusiastic advice and allow you to coast through your application process, this isn't it. Instead, Admissionado will empower you with guidance and targeted feedback to help you craft an application that you'll feel proud of, admit or not. From the initial discovery call, the team at Admissionado was my greatest cheerleader and advocate, guiding me through every step of the application preparation process when I felt lost and helping me reframe fears I had about the strength of my application. My consultant, Karen Doster, was absolutely incredible and as a Kellogg applicant, she provided the in-depth alumni knowledge on the community and experience I needed, and the seasoned experience to provide objective feedback on my application. Make no mistake--Admissionado will put you to WORK through multiple revisions and rewrites, but all to separate the fluff from the gold. Karen, my essay specialist, and the Admissionado team were wonderful resources I could trust for feedback, and I married the feedback I received from them with the pointers I received from many Kellogg alumns and current students. That was a potent and effective combination, and I was admitted to Kellogg, the only program I applied to. Karen and the Admissionado team were equally thrilled, and having them in my corner throughout the entire process made the MBA admissions process--an all-consuming and generally stressful time--so much easier. If you need experts who have successfully navigated the process again and again, I would highly recommend working with Admissionado to create an application you can feel proud of.

Phenomenal service!

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I worked with John on 3 schools, eventually securing an offer from Wharton! I honestly couldn't have done it without him.

I had spoken with many admissions consultants before deciding to go with Admissionado. I felt an instant fit with John in our free consultation call and was amazed by how well he understood me. What impressed me most was how John picked out strengths from my profile that I didn't even think of. When I initially went to John, I was worried that my GMAT score at the time (which I later improved) would disadvantage me, but that didn't deter him from taking on this challenge, instilling a great deal of confidence, especially as someone coming from a competitive demographic.

Throughout the process, John was accessible and struck a great balance between being positive and pragmatic. Where necessary, John pushed me to think more deeply about my essays, because of which I was able to write great essays. He was also incredibly patient throughout and spent several hours with me on call to answer all my questions.

The initial Action Plan John put together for me provided a great framework for applications that I wasn't working on with John, allowing me to get several interview invites and another admit.

Special shoutout to Claudia, Rose and Krystal for being flexible and working around my requirements! Highly recommend working with John & Admissionado :)

The Best of the Best

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

If you know you want an MBA but have literally no idea where to start (like me) but want the best of the best, then John is your guy. John and I clicked right off the bat. And let me tell you, I interviewed 8+ MBA top-tier programs. So why did John and his team work so well for me? Let me tell you that my profile isn't exactly what one would call "eligible" for a top tier MBA program (I was aiming for the top 5 MBA schools). When I interviewed other MBA consulting firms, I actually had one consultant (verbatim) tell me to adjust my aspirations from a Top 5 MBA program to more of a Top 15 to Top 25 program. They did not believe in me. John did.

I really didn't have too much direction when I first applied to the MBA programs, but by actively listening to my goals, my concerns, and my future career aspirations, John and his team helped steer me in the right direction. They communicated with me even during the weekends (and communication is extremely important to me), they were very helpful, insightful, and they really helped me tweak my resume, essays, and even interview prep for the top B-Schools.

Not only did I get into my dream schools but I also got scholarship money as well. I could never have done this on my own.

I would recommend John (and his team) in a heartbeat.

The fact that you get access to a team and not just 1 consultant was also really important to me. I had cheerleaders who had my back and actually cared for my success.

John Miles Provides a Clear Path to Success

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

John was incredible throughout the entire process. When I was first considering his services, we had an introductory call where he reviewed my current standing in detail. He highlighted areas of strength as well as my areas that I had to work on improving to ensure I presented the base case to the admissions committees. Once we started working together, he really pushed me to view things through the same lense that the admissions committees would be using. That was helpful for me as I have spent 10 years in the professional world, so changing my view was important for me to do given this new audience. He was also very frank and succint with his feedback. It was very clear that he took the job of helping me get into business school seriously and we weren't going to waste any of our time working together on anything that wasn't going to directly improve my chances of admission. I really appreciated his dedicated approach and all of his help and guidance paid off in a big way. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering hiring a consultant talk to John as he'll give you an honest assessment of where you stand and work with you to ensure you are presenting your best self to schools.
